Liphe on demand

Liphefs vision of an enhanced life style is supported and enriched by the provision of content across broadband services. Triple play services i.e. a package of TV, Telephony and Broadband services from one company is becoming more and more common. However the provision of Triple play services is still largely constrained by who gownsh the cable leading into the property.

Liphe advocates and promotes the provision of the open-access network model where by entrepreneurial dynamic content providers compete for business in an unrestricited market place. Thereby helping to change how the network used, reduce cost of service and generate interes in the development of new services.
Liphefs core management team have been involved in the provision of dynamic networks for the past 20 years. Our COO was an integral part of the deployment team for Global Crossingfs transatlantic network which today forms the backbone of many service providersf networks.

More recently Liphe has been involved with the deployment of next generation Fibre to the Home (FTTH) networks which we see as an essential part of our UK offering. The provision of fibre will allow the deliver of services that cannot be provided over traditional copper cables. Liphefs core skills lay in Infrastructure services and the deployment of local area networks and wide area networks. By bringing these two skills sets together and calling upon our past and present experiences Liphe is able to deploy, manage, maintain and market the open access FTTH network model. Tthis model creates business opportunities for Greenfield property developers, network owners and service providers, as well freedom of choice for the end user.

Growing demand for higher-quality, faster and more reliable broadband service is spurring not only innovation, but also network expansion. To-date, however, both the innovation and the expansion has in the main been confined to the traditional network owners and service providers i.e. companies that own and inhabit the cable or digital subscriber line (DSL) infrastructures. As a result, end-user customers have had limited choices for broadband and content services.

Moreover the traditional arrangement generates no revenue for the Greenfield property developers that literally laid the foundations for delivering these services i.e gthe last mileh into the end usersf homes. Moving forward it is clear that a next genration broadband technology infrastructure based upon fibre-to-the-home or FTTH must be built into new and possibly some existing real estate developments, to continue to meet demand for increasing bandwidth. As this FTTH infrastructure is built however, it will be crucial that the revenue and the profits are distributed among the main beneficiaries, including the real estate companies and local authorities, who play an important role shepherding the regulations that encourage this type of development.

This is why Liphe Technologies has adopted this unique approach acting as a condiut for all interested parties to come together. Through the provision and management of the glast mileh Liphe and coordination with the utility companies, Liphe Technoloogies is able to reduce the cost of implementation, ownership and operation. In addition, Liphe Technologies is able to benefit from government regulation on competion, realising annuity revenue for the property developer and assisingt with the deployment of a highly marketable entity - the truly smart home in a truly smart environment ready for the era of smart living.
